Cammie – Shamrock Macaw

Description

Cammie is something of a flirt- she likes to hang out on the side of her cage, bob her head, and blush when her favorite people come in to the room she’s housed in. Cammie is active and spends much of our warm summer days playing out in the outdoor flight with the rest of her flock! When she’s inside, she enjoys target training and playing with her favorite toys- she isn’t too picky, if it can be shredded she’s happy! She’s getting an introduction to foraging, and enjoys searching for treats hidden in her toys. While all our birds get a healthy, balanced diet in the form of a thoroughly researched chop recipe, Cammie really enjoys getting larger pieces of veggies like carrots and green beans to chew up! During training sessions she isn’t terribly food motivated, and seems to prefer working for verbal praise and dance parties with her favorite care staff.
