Roscoe – Blue & Gold Macaw

Meet Roscoe, a wonderful senior blue-and-gold macaw! He’s often overlooked because he’s missing some feathers and can be a little reserved around new people, but he has become a favorite around the aviary. Roscoe is a sweet, easygoing guy who enjoys hanging out with people, taking in the sun with the rest of his macaw flock, and (of course) his walnuts! He came to us in 2014 with a group of 14 senior birds, of which he was one of the youngest. Roscoe is great at stepping up and is good with people and other birds. We think he has great potential!
