Description
Baby is a female blue and gold macaw. She enjoys just about any food reinforcement you can give her, and benefits from frequent training and trust building exercises from TGF staff and volunteers. Baby enjoys some shreddable toys, but her favorite type of enrichment is foraging toys! While Baby gets more confident with handling every day, she currently prefers to step up on to a towel, pot holder style. During the summers, she enjoys spending time with her play group of macaw buddies in a supervised outdoor flight. Baby is comfortable with target training, and is trained to station on different perches in her cage to enable caregivers easy access to change out her toys and tidy her cage.
