Baby – Umbrella Cockatoo

Hi, I’m Baby and I love saying my name. When I get excited, I dance and say ‘hi Baby’ a lot. I came to TGF with 25 other birds from a wild animal sanctuary in South Dakota. The sanctuary was set up for wolves, bears, tigers,and lions, not birds like my friends and me. Luckily for me, two young ladies with TGF were called in to take us to their sanctuary in Elizabeth, Colorado. I stepped up for one of the ladies and went right into a crate for a new adventure. I could not stop laughing from all of the excitement. On the way to our new home, one of the ladies comforted me with head scritches and preening. I really appreciated the love I received and comfort I felt, knowing I would be going to a place that understands me. I would do best in a home that has cockatoo experience as I can be a bit unpredictable with those that can’t read my body language.
