Frank – Umbrella Cockatoo

Description

Frank’s a wild caught Umbrella cockatoo that came to TGF from a small rescue group in UT. He didn’t have the easiest early life, as capture and exportation is a terrible experience for any bird. He’s endured a few homes in his life, and he would do well in a situation where little pressure to interact significantly with people is part of a shared flock. He loves to chew on wood and enjoys soft music. Frank’s made a few cockatoo friends since his July arrival. We have confidence that he’ll adapt to another, smaller flock. If taking Frank into your flock isn’t possible, we hope that one of you will become Frank’s virtual foster care and love provider.
