Description
Clarabelle is one sassy little lady. She’s decided that she’s too cool for the cockatoo strut, instead she gracefully launches herself from perch to perch showing off her acrobatic skills. She enthusiastically leaps across her cage and sticks her foot out for you to hold. She loves her swing and will use all her strength to get it moving as fast as she can. She is incredibly observant and quick to learn new behaviors when positively reinforced, she mastered target training in only a few days. She gets along with other birds and loves her outdoor time in the summers but stays busy in the winter shredding egg cartons or anything with a similar texture into a million little pieces. Clarabelle is still learning how to step up, hands are scary and towels are for wrestling with but with continued practice this skill will be mastered in no time. Clarabelle would do well with an owner who does not push to handle her but lets her come to them when she feels confident to do so.
