Description
Indie is a spunky little girl that entered into our care at the end of 2024! Indie landed with TGF after bouncing around to several different homes in relatively short time span. Indie unfortunately had some negative experiences with previous owners that made her pretty fearful of being handled and people in general. She was relinquished due to “biting and aggressive behavior” but heck, we would bite too if we were scared! Since entering our care, staff have been working with Indie on being comfortable coming out of her cage, taking treats from a hand, and some very minimal handling. We work at Indie’s pace and even then, we are still working through some biting and fearfulness.
We are dedicated to making sure that Indie’s next home is one that will respect her space and give her the choice to interact with people at her own pace.
