Fred – White Capped Pionus

Description

Fred came in with another birdy in our care, Dinger the Nanday Conure, when their owner was entering assisted living. After spending many years living together, Fred starting displaying some concerning and aggressive behaviors towards Dinger and the pair was separated. People like to say that birds bond for life, but having had 100’s of pairs in our care over the years, we have seen our fair share of divorces! Fred and Dinger now live as neighbors. We are still in search of their next adoptive home and in the meantime, we hope to find sponsors to support their care!
