Singita has relatives at TGF – Harley, one of our other Hy macaws. Each of the birds’ former owners purchased each them from a well known breeder, Kashmir Csaky. Singita’s long time Greenwing macaw friend, Bonito, turned out to be the wrong color once she met Kayla and Suli, two other female Hys. These girls are diverse ages, from about 15 to 25 years in age, and they enjoy sharing the same bird “apartment” made by Animal Environments, and their flight time outside. Singita has definitely become a more opinionated bird since she’s now hanging out with the big blue birds. She’s a great flyer although her favorite pastime is foraging on the ground looking for volcanic rock and other destructibles to toss around.
