Mojo – Blue and Gold Macaw

Description

Mojo is part of a bonded pair with Treasure, another blue and gold macaw! Mojo and Treasure love toys of just about any kind (so long as they hold up to their beaks!) but they get a lot of fun out of undoing the attachment clips holding up their toys too, so we have to be careful to make sure their toys are pretty sturdy! Mojo and Treasure both step up on to towels, but prefer to walk themselves in and out of their cage to the outdoor flight, with a human chauffeur watching to make sure they’re safe and don’t make themselves welcome to another bird’s cage and toys on their way out. Mojo and Treasure both enjoy target training, and benefit from opportunities to earn reinforcement. They aren’t picky when it comes to treats, but walnuts and hazelnuts are always a hit!
