Bob – Blue and Gold Macaw

Description

Bob is a handsome, robust and large male B&G macaw. He came into TGF as an animal cruelty case along with a couple other macaws, cockatoos and a Patagonian conure. Bob’s family was living in their car and a motel along with 2 dogs, the birds and 2 adults, both heavy smokers. Once management received noise complaints about the room occupants, the police and local animal shelter were contacted to remove seize the animals. The birds’ owners contacted TGF and arrangements were made with animal control to place the birds at TGF. The owners were never able to get back on to their feet, and the birds stayed at TGF. Bob is gregarious and social, especially with the company of other macaws. He would do well in a small, flock situation and with ability to be able to spend time outdoors too. We’re uncertain of his age but know that he is an adult. If you don’t have room in your home for Bob, will you make some room in your heart for him?
