Another one of our Doves has found a home. Riley came to us from South Dakota along with 5 other Doves. Julie had a single Dove that had lost his friend, and she decided she didn't want him to be alone. When Julie saw Riley, she noticed that she seemed to be the third wheel in the group of Doves. Now Riley has her own friend to spend time with.

Cockatoo sisters Tasha and Yogi would love to find a nice home to call their own. Tasha the Umbrella Cockatoo is the outgoing one of the pair. She loves to talk, sing, and bounce around. Yogi the Moluccan Cockatoo enjoys watching all of Tasha's goofing around and makes sure to egg her on when she can.

If you can't adopt, consider sponsoring this pair.

The Gabriel FoundationBoth Tasha and Yogi are target trained, and truly enjoy being interactive. Both cockatoos, along with another special, Bare eyed cockatoo named Shelby, a female, were together in the same loving home. Each of these birds came to that same midwest home because they were no longer wanted by their original owners. They were able to be a flock for several years. Their caregiver faced some serious health matters and made plans for the birds' care with TGF when the time came that she needed help. Yes, they miss this amazing person. And she misses them. Sometimes life throws a curve ball, and we are here to help. Tasha and Yogi do not share a cage but are housed side by side. Their personalities are different, and both are delightful. Yogi's eyes are sad in this picture-we've had a couple weeks of temperatures too cold for them to have their time outside in the sun. All of the birds miss their outdoors time when it becomes too cold.

Happy Annetta EvansWe might be interested, so here are a few questions. How old are they? Do they require special medical care? Since you are familiar with Pretty Boy, do you think they would get along with him? We have been discussing adopting a playmate for him for a while now. Thanks!

It was an exciting day as we said goodbye to Maple. Maple and his cagemate Pumpkin came to us from our recent South Dakota rescue. Unfortunately, Pumpkin passed away a couple weeks ago leaving Maple alone.

After meeting with Maple, Beverly knew he would fit in well with her two TGF alums Wind and Water. Now Maple has two Quaker siblings of his own.

Julie CrooksI was just thinking of Maple and Pumpkin this morning. So glad Maple has a forever home! I am just sad Pumpkin didn't make it. But Maple will love the quakers! Congratulations Beverly, Mapke, Wind, and Water!
