Strudel is potentially one of the cutest birds that has entered our care recently. Strudel shares a cage with their best buddy, Taffy, and the two spend their days making their cage a home ❤️(aka tearing up their papers to make a newspaper nest and making sure that their food is everywhere except for their bowl.) Strudel, despite being made out of pure cotton fluff, is the muscle of this couple and will beat you up if you touch their paper nest.
Like so many birds that land at TGF, Taffy and Strudel are looking for new homes after the passing of their previous owner. These situations are so difficult – we can tell that these birds were well loved in their previous home but the reality of working with such long-lived animals is that sometimes a loving home can’t be a forever home.
