JT – Blue and Gold Macaw

Description

JT is a relatively timid blue and gold macaw. He’s learning skills like stepping up and spending time near humans, slowly but surely. For the time being, he prefers to step up on to a towel when he needs to be transported somewhere. JT goes outside with a flock of macaws, but seems to prefer to keep to himself for now. He needs some space to himself, and we’re happy to accommodate! He’s learning skills like target and station training to learn to interact with his environment and build his confidence.
