Long Term Boarding

The Gabriel Foundation’s Long Term Boarding program is for birds who need care away from home for a specified period of time (minimally 3 months). This can be due to a variety of circumstances, including temporary assignment of the owner overseas, college, or medical issues experienced by a member of the family that prevent keeping the bird in the home. Birds that are put in Long Term Boarding are required to sign a LTB agreement and make arrangements for payment of monthly support from the family.
