Adorable!!!

Omg Mitchell Thomas I REALLY want a cockatoo! Lol

I'm watching this as I'm listening to Nutzy screeching and screaming in the background. This time of year he gets very vocal. Time to cover his cage LOL

We have a Jardine that barks when you say "sick 'em!"

The Gabriel Foundation

Sometimes our resident birds just know best. This certainly holds true for Claude and Jasper. When Wendy from Boise was looking to add an African Grey to her flock she had an immediate connection with shy Claude, a long term resident here at The Gabriel Foundation. Jasper the Goffin's Cockatoo had his own plans, and he wasn't about to let her get away without him as well. 7 months later Wendy reports that both birds have settled in well and that Jasper has readjusted the entire household's bedtime to better suit his needs! Claude is a family favorite and has amazed everyone with his mimicry of different voices and random sounds. An adoption success!

If you would like to share your own TGF adoption success, please send your story with a few photos to [email protected]

At TGF, we love news from our adopters and their flock.

Well....I always have said.....do not pick a particular bird as a companion. Let the bird pick you!

We missed out on a planned visit and with rare openings in our schedule, I'm very sad. But, with that being said, as soon as I have some vacation time, I'm taking a day and making an appointment.

Such great news! Love that they pick their own "family" Most happy for Jasper ❤️

They pick who they want! And those are the best matches! Congrats guys!

Great story....animals pick their humans.

luv these friends
